My name is Andras Erci. I live in Vancouver, British Columbia.

I work mostly with freshly fallen, still-wet green wood. Much of it comes from logs headed for firewood, found around the city or given to me.

Sometimes I know what I want to make. Other times I just start cleaning up a piece of wood and see where it takes my hands.

I get lost in the work, and if I manage to stay out of my way long enough, I usually like what comes out of it.
